Khabib Nurmagomedov offers Tony Ferguson $200,000 to combat him far in 2017, a couple of high-profile UFC fighters appear to take it in their own hands — and mouths — to attempt to make some blockbuster matchups happen even if the organization has to approve them. Nothing was formally planned out past March of this year, with new ownership remaining quiet about strategies for title conflicts and other blockbuster bouts up to now. But on Monday, No. 1 lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov (24-0) took to Twitter to let No. 2 rival Tony Ferguson (22-3) know he is willing to put up $200,000 of his own money to create a fight between them happen since the UFC hasn’t done it for them…Ferguson had previously demanded equal pay to take on Nurmagomedov despite signing a new deal with the UFC that allegedly prevents that by making exactly the same. UFC president Dana White said the struggle would not happen for this reason even though the public is demanding it. The suggested bout is for its interim lightweight title with current champion Conor McGregor (21-3) out of action for the next 10 months to focus on the birth of his kid. Tyron Woodley and michael Bisping agree to catchweight bout? Yes, current UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping (30-7) and welterweight champ Tyron Woodley (16-3-1) were seen verbally agreeing to some superfight of varieties in a catchweight of 180 pounds backstage during UFC 207 past Friday at Las Vegas. Both fighters are coming off name defenses at the end of 2016 and right now don’t have new opponents. Bisping posted the video below on his Instagram account to show the world he means business. There is a current opening for a main event at UFC Fight Night 108 in the O2 Arena in London on March 18th, with Bisping hinting at the as a possible date.
